Season 5 | Episode 51 | The Mysterious World of Buster Lee | The Moon Landing

Helsinki 1983.  While searching for a baldness cure, handsome he-man Miles Scorpio made a discovery with big implications. But there was a problem. The secret ingredient – dimodium – existed only on the Moon.  Traveling secretly to the lunar surface in search of their own supply of dimodium, Buster Lee, Lars and Beck were trapped in a mine. With oxygen running out, Mayella and Joan flew to save them and discovered a stowaway aboard their rocket ship. You won’t believe what happened next.

Season 5 | Episode 44 | The Mysterious World of Buster Lee | Memorial Weekend

February 27, 2022 by clive desmond

Season 5 | Episode 44 | The Mysterious World of Buster Lee | Memorial Weekend

Travistock New Jersey Friday May 22 1981. Before Jane Fonda introduced aerobics, fencing was a thing, a large pizza with 4 pops, caesar salad, garlic bread, and a medium tiramisu cost seven-dollars and fifty-cents. Like millions of young people across the USA, Buster Lee and Lars LaGuardia ordered pizza, watched TV and spent the long weekend cocooned. That weekend it rained non-stop and a local cat burglar – wearing an unusual costume – broke into as many homes as he could. To complicate things, at 9:30 PM, the eastern seaboard was plunged into a blackout. They say what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.

Deep And Delicious Recipes From Possum Harding Adventures.

April 22, 2021 by clive desmond

Because of the lower cost of air travel and a booming economy, the 1970s were an era of bold culinary change.

Championed by Julia Child, James Beard, Craig Claiborne, and Marcella Hazan, mastering dishes at home, eating actual food, honoring fresh ingredients instead of the canned phenomenon of the 1950s, became de rigueur.

During the awakening, hot cheese Fondues, sweet and pungent General Tso’s Chicken, and exotic Pasta Primavera fought tooth and nail over the increasingly sophisticated taste buds of Americans.

By 1977, however, the food-battles of America were ancient history, and the timidity and provincialism of past generations retreated forever more.

Which explains why every episode of Possum Harding Adventures (except for the two-parter titled “Fresh or Frozen,”) ends in a celebratory cookout.

Our free recipe guide – Recipes From Possum Hard Adventures – pairs tried & true standbys like Corn Dogs, Crab Cakes, and Deviled Ham, with exciting new healthful arrivals such as Carrot Cake, Ranch Dressing, and mouth-watering Airline Chicken.

From our 1977 time capsule kitchen in Orlando, we’re proud to present POSSUM HARDING ADVENTURES RECIPES.  We hope you enjoy them.

Season 4 | Episode 36 | Possum Harding Adventures | Jinx Alarm

Booked by dreamy Roman Cardinelli to boost revenues at Orlando Race Track, Jinx Alarm was supposed to play Friday night as the half-time act. But when singer Vivian Bane vanished,  one phone call and Possum Harding was brought in to find the missing throaty thrush lickety split.

Like many of her generation, Vivian lost faith in religion, America and ultimately herself.  Wooed by cult leader (and lady’s man) 66-year-old GoGo Goldberg, Vivian ran away and ditched America for the Utopian aimlessness of Key West.

A fascinating look into the hush-hush Neverland of the hippies, “Jinx Alarm” connects curious cultural clues and with long unanswered questions from the past.

Season 4 | Episode 35 | Possum Harding Adventures | Fresh Or Frozen Part 2.

Surrounded by armed guards from Manchuria, Matthias Crane’s steam-punk submarine attracts the attention of tourists and locals alike. To locate the doe-eyed Buster Lee, super-psychic Neely Cairo lights incense and reaches into the mysterious mind of Ding Dong, the Australian wonder-pooch. Meanwhile, Precious and Possum don bird decoy hats and swim in the shark-infested waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

Back on the beach, Melanie and Taylor watch as millions slip through their fingers, and a mysterious Moroccan swish drops a life-changing note on Possum and Precious at the Louvre.

If you were on the edge of your seat hearing Part 1 of “Fresh or Frozen,” wait till you hear Part 2.

Season 4 | Episode 34 | Possum Harding Adventures | Fresh Or Frozen Pt. 1

April 22, 2021 by clive desmond

Season 4 | Episode 34 | Possum Harding Adventures | Fresh Or Frozen Part 1.

While in the South of France for the Grand Prix, Possum and her posse are trapped in a deadly web with millionaire Matthias Crane and his too good to believe cryogenic life extension plan and Melanie and Taylor’s harebrained get-rich-quick-scheme and the search for the ultimate tomato-based salad dressing.

Just when things couldn’t get worse, wide-eyed Buster Lee is kidnapped and Possum must save him from harm. On this dangerous journey, we meet a chilling Slovakian beauty Nikoleena and are witness to a mind-union between super-psychic Neely Cairo and Ding Dong the miniature Australian Cattle Dog and friend of the unfortunate.

Set against the glamorous spectacle of the Côte d'Azur (with its non-stop excess, topless beaches and throbbing disco music) “Fresh or Frozen” is a Possum Harding Adventure so big, so crammed with mystery, action, and excitement, it takes two full episodes to tell.
